US firm shuts down in Nigeria, accuses staff of extortion
Dynamics Intelligence, a company operating from Redmond, United States has shut its operations in Nigeria over what its chairman alleged is extortions by its employees and contractors.    

Jenna Bourgeois, chairman of the company, made the announcement via his LinkedIn account and asked any company trying to do business in Nigeria to outsource to Indians.

Obinwanne 'Invictus' Okeke, the Nigerian charged by the FBI for various acts of cyber scam, has appointedJohn Iweanoje, as his lawyer.  

Iweanoje takes over from Rahul Sharma, a public defender hired by a United States judge to stand as counsel to Okeke. The accused had failed to appear with a lawyer during his initial court appearance on August 9. Iweanoje indicated that he was stepping in to defend the Abuja-based businessman later the same day.

Nigeria's anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) shared this post across its social media pages today in a bid to motivate the youth but it back-fired.

Nigerian youths weren't impressed with the agency's attempt to 'rap' and took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

Update: Couple kidnapped in Enugu identified as Anambra community leader and his wife
Nnewi-based businessman, Chief Ernest Otugo and his wife were kidnapped by unknown gunmen at Amokwe, Udi local council along old Enugu-Awka Road on Thursday night.

Otugo, who is the President of the Ibite Olo Community in Ezeagu local council, was with his friend, simply identified as Chief Reuben as well as his children.
